A local business is lending a helping hand to a charitable organization that offers assistance to fire victims and those living in poverty.
Vogue Optical locations in Moncton, Shediac, Riverview and Dieppe are raising funds for Big Hearts, Small City.
Founder Jason Surrette says the funds are always used to help those in need.
“99% of the problems we deal with all revolve around money, when we really ask for fundraising opportunities and people to help us, those funds are used to help people get out of the situations they’re in,” says Surette.
To date, Big Hearts, Small City has helped over 50 fire victims get rehoused since January.
Vogue Optical is holding a yard sale and 50/50 draw as a part of their fundraiser.
