About 10, 000 residents were also left without power for several hours .Most were on stand-by to evacuate if needed, but in the end, they didn’t have to.
Firefighters were going to remain on scene to monitor the blaze overnight.
A burn ban remains in place across the province. We could potentially see some relief today. There’s a chance of showers in the forecast.
