New Leaf Travel will be taking off next month from the Greater Moncton International Airport after Canada’s new low-cost airline ran into problems earlier this year.
New Leaf suspended the start of its operations until licensing issues were resolved with the federal regulator.
Spokesperson Dean Dacko says the airline is poised to take off from Moncton on July 29th.
“Our first flight will be departing from here at 6:10pm on Friday, just before the long weekend and we know there are a ton of folks who will take advantage of some very exciting offers,” he notes.
The flight leaves Moncton for Hamilton and then on to Edmonton.
Initially the frequency will be twice a week but Dacko adds that could increase depending on demand.
