Most Prince Edward Island residents are against Mike Duffy representing them in the Senate, despite him being cleared of all criminal charges in connection with the Senate expense scandal.
A Corporate Research Associates survey shows that 71-percent of Islanders are in opposition while 23-percent are in support. 6-percent are undecided or don’t offer an opinion on the issue.
CRA CEO Don Mills says it’s clear that Duffy doesn’t have the confidence of Islanders to represent them in the Senate.
