A Fredericton area woman is now ‘Set for Life’ after recently picking up a scratch and win ticket at the spur-of-the-moment.
Phyllis Eagles of Lincoln has decided to choose $1,000 a week for 25 years instead of the $675,000 lump sum.
She adds that much money all at once seemed a bit overwhelming.
Eagles says she and her best friend plan to do some travelling with an Alaskan Cruise and a trip to Las Vegas at the top of their list.
Together, the pair have been nicknamed Thelma and Louise.
