Four Arrested, Expected To Face Charges In Connection With Copper Wire Theft

Charges are expected against four people arrested in relation to the theft of copper wires from a mill southwest of Richibucto.

Employees of a mill in West Branch called Southeast District RCMP at 6:45 Monday morning after finding four people allegedly stealing copper wire.

All four were quickly arrested by the RCMP.

Three men from Moncton, ranging in age from 28 to 52-years old and a 41-year old woman from the Elsipogtog area were arrested.

They have since been released on a promise to appear in Moncton Provincial Court in the future.

Anyone with information about stolen copper wire, or if you’ve been a victim of this crime are asked to contact the RCMP or Crimestoppers.
