A Bernice MacNaughton High School student, has placed fourth at the Canadian Geographic Challenge…held in Ottawa over the weekend.
Grade 9 student James Cogswell, competed in the finals against 4 other students from across the country. After two hours of geography questions, in a live game show format, only a point or two separated the contestants.
This was Cogswell’s second year competing in the challenge.
Over 30, 000 students from 600 schools across the country, participated in the challenge.
