No word yet on a cause for a barn fire that broke out this morning at Ryan and Horsman Roads in Moncton.
Moncton fire was called out at around 5am this morning and Platoon Chief Paul Bruens says there were flames and smoke, “Firefighters deployed a line, and aggressively attacked the fire. The fire was extinguished very quickly and firefighters left the scene within an hour.”
He says fire investigators are going to be back on the scene today, “The fire being investigated by our investigation officer. It does appear to be suspicious because it did start outside the barn.”
Bruens says it appeared to be a vacant barn, that was not in use.
