Eligible New Brunswickers will now know when they will receive their first HST credit payment.
The provincial government says in October, two quarterly payments covering the period of July through December will be sent out, and then in January 2017, the payments will return to single quarterly payments. This payment will be the approximate amount that eligible New Brunswickers can expect on a quarterly basis going forward.
A full HST credit will be provided to those with an income of less than $35,000 per year. Those with an income of less than $50,000, or a family of two adults and two children with a combined income of less than $75,000, could also receive a payment.
