Alberta Government Offers Assistance To Evacuees From Outside Province

The province of New Brunswick is partnering with the Alberta government to offer financial support to those forced from their homes in Fort McMurray.

The Wildfire Relief Funding for Evacuees Outside of Alberta program was announced yesterday by the Alberta government.

Service New Brunswick will be accepting applications for the Alberta government from those New Brunswick residents applying for the program who may qualify.

New Brunswickers who may be eligible for assistance are encouraged to visit the following Service New Brunswick locations for support in processing their applications: Fredericton, Saint John, Moncton, Dieppe, Woodstock, Bathurst, Miramichi, Campellton and Edmundston.
