Man Accused Of Stealing From Vehicles In Downtown Moncton

A 23-year-old Lutes Mountain man will appear in court for a bail hearing today in connection with thefts from vehicles in downtown Moncton.

Joshua Thomas Rossiter is being held in custody following an incident on Wednesday evening.

Codiac RCMP say a public tip led them to someone who was going through vehicles in two busy parking lots.

Police apprehended a man and after searching his vehicle, officers found several ID cards, jewelry, and gift cards.

Some of those items are confirmed to be from other recent break and enters in the city.

Mounties say additional charges could be laid as other property crimes are investigated.
