No charges have been laid in a fatal accident that claimed the life of an 8-year-old boy in Fredericton last summer.
On June 14th of last year, Fredericton Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Lynhaven Street.
The investigation carried out by police revealed the boy, who was playing in his front lawn, was hit by a car that lost control.
A 44-year-old woman was the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle.
Police and the Crown Prosecutors office determined that no charged will be laid.
