The Opposition parties in the Legislature are up in arms over the decision to adjourn until June 28th.
Provincial Green Party leader David Coon calls it unbelievable but Interim Conservative leader Bruch Fitch goes further, calling it an assault on democracy.
Premier Brian Gallant takes exception to that characterisation. The Premier says over the next couple weeks he’ll be announcing new jobs in Saint John and Bathurst.
