Major Dip In Diesel and Furnace Oil Prices

Users of diesel and furnace oil are going to pay less to fuel up today.

There was a major dip overnight of around 9.0 cents a litre.

The cost of regular self serve on the otherhand, didn’t budge much at all.

It only went down by 0.1 cent a litre.

Several stations this morning were selling gasoline for around 97.9 cents a litre.

Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with www.Gasbuddy.com expects we’ll return to increases in the weeks to come, due to the switchover from winter to summer gasoline, “It requires refineries to add a more expensive component and change the process by which they produce summer gasoline so it doesn’t evaporate in your fuel system or create smog. Starting between the 10th and 15th of April, we should see start to see prices reflect a little higher.”
