A 23-year-old Alberta man has died in a single vehicle crash after trying to flee from police.
RCMP say officers attempted to pull over a vehicle on Route 126 in Rogersville last night.
The driver failed to stop and took off at a high speed.
Police say they followed the vehicle briefly but for safety reasons backed off.
Shortly after, police received word the vehicle hit a power pole and then crashed into a house on Route 126.
The driver died at the scene.
Mounties say no one inside the house was hurt.
