Cara Operations Limited, who own Swiss Chalet, announced this morning that they are taking over St. Hubert Restaurants.
The deal is worth $537 million and includes 117 restaurants, two food manufacturing plants, and two distribution centres.
One of those restuarants is located in Moncton.
The sale is expected to close in the summer of this year.
Spokesperson for Cara Operations, Ken Grondin says they will be preserving the St. Hubert name and brand. He says no restaurants will be closed.
