Road conditions are slippery but getting better in Moncton.
That’s according to Public Works Weekend Supervisor Dennis Caissie who says they have about 90% of the roads salted by now.
He says drivers should take it slow and cautious when driving because the roads still aren’t 100%,and trucks are still out working.
“Passable, good driving, but we still have the trucks all out doing ones we couldn’t get up, or couldn’t get to last night,” says Caissie.
He says they were out salting as soon as the ice rain started, and it’s been melting pretty well, especially with the relatively mild weather.
Caissie adds sidewalks are in rough shape, and they will be salting and sanding some of those when they can.
