Every kids needs a Superhero, some more than others. That’s where the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Moncton comes in.
Their biggest fundraiser of the year is being held next month at Fairlanes Bowling Centre.
Executive Director Peter MacDonald says they help to give these kids someone to look up to.
Macdonald says their organization continues to grow, with four different programs now offered. That includes the traditional one, that sets up a Big Brother with a Little Brother, or Big Sister with a little sister. They also now have Big Couples and Big families as well.
This Bowl-a-thon is their biggest of the year. They raise over 40 per cent of their annual revenue over the two days, so it is super important that people come out.
It is planned for April 15th and 16th.
Teams are asked to raise $250 minimum to register.
