A 44-year-old Tracadie man is facing charges in connection with trying to impersonate a police officer.
Christian Doucet is charged with impersonating a police officer, theft and false pretence.
He was arrested last week, after a man tried to obtain a credit card at the Canadian Tire in Tracadie with information claiming he was employed as a police officer.
RCMP say the man also stole items from the store and then tried to return them.
RCMP have released the man’s photo, because they are hoping anyone else who may have been a victim, will come forward.
