A visitation and funeral will be held today and tomorrow for a well respected father and Commanding Officer of the Air Cadets.
29 year old Captain Joshua Paris will be laid to rest in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia.
He was killed in a car crash on Route 115 in Irishtown on Tuesday night.
Paris’ four year old daughter was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. She is being treated at IWK Hospital in Halifax for serious injuries.
He was also expecting his second child in August.
Paris was the Commanding Officer of 154 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron..and had been a member of the military since 2005.
He was originally from Parrsboro, but was living in Moncton with his family.
A visitation wil be held from 2 to 4pm today and again from 6 to 8 p.m at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro.
A funeral at 2 pm tomorrow at the Parrsboro Baptist Church.
