Anglophone East Superintendent Meets With Teachers To Learn About Realities Of Teaching

Teachers in the Anglophone East School District spoke with their Superintendent about the front line realities of teaching.

Gregg Ingersoll says teachers shared worries about getting all students to their necessary levels, as well as increasing professional learning.

He says there was one crystal clear takeaway.

“One of the things they wanted us to get back to doing more of is giving them opportunities to get together because it doesn’t matter what profession you’re in, the more you talk to people that do the same thing as you, the more it strengthens your practice so that’s one of the things that loud and clear they wanted us to do more of,” says Ingersoll.

He says this feedback will be used in both their long and short term planning.
