New Brunswick doesn’t rank high among the provinces and territories for mining investment, coming in 11th or second last ahead of Nova Scotia. This, according to the annual global survey of mining executives released by the Fraser Institute.
The survey finds Saskatchewan is the most attractive jurisdiction for mining investment in Canada because of a competitive tax regime, efficient permitting procedures and clarity around land claims.
