A report released by the Conference Board claims developing the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) industry in just B-C would grow Canada’s economy by an average of $7.4 billion per year over the next 30 years.
The report also claims the increased economic activity would increase employment nationally by an annual average of 65,000 jobs.
The Asia-Pacific region is the largest and fastest-growing LNG market in the world and Repsol has received approval from the National Energy Board to export liquified natural gas from Saint John.
