The provincial government is putting in its bid to host the 9th Games of La Francophonie, in 2021.
A delegation, headed by the Minister responsible for La Francophonie, Francine Landry, is heading to Abidjan, Ivory Coast to make a presentation tomorrow.
The hope is to host the games in Moncton and Dieppe.
The only other bid is from Sherbrooke, Quebec.
The official announcement about the location of the Games will be made at the Francophonie summit in Madagascar in November.
The Games have never been held in New Brunswick.
