A radioactive scare closed the airport in Bathurst last night.
Bathurst Regional Airport released a statement that says a package containing a radioactive substance was damaged while being unloaded from an Air Canada flight.
The substance was at risk of becoming radioactive if it was exposed to moisture.
Emergency responders including RCMP, Fire Departments and a HAZMAT Team were called to the scene.
The airport says two of its employees were placed in quarantine to ensure their safety, but in the end, no one was injured.
