A 50 year old man from Edmundston is facing first degree murder charges in connection with a death earlier this month.
RCMP say Sylvain Bard was arrested this week.
The body of 70 year old Roger Parent of Riviere-Verte was discovered in a home on February 13th. An autopsy confirmed the death as a homicide.
Bard will appear in court on March 22 for a bail hearing.
