Vitalite Heatlh Network spent the morning coming up with alternate plans for its clients who use the Sackville office, that was extensively damaged by fire overnight.
The building was home to a Healthy Toddler assessment clinic that saw patients once a month, and also a pediatric immunization clinic.
Spokesperson Luc Foulem says clients are being contacted and are being re-directed to the Moncton and Shediac offices.
He says one of their original concerns was client files, but they’ve determined that those files were not stored at the Sackville office, they were stored in the Moncton office.
Foulem says once they are able to visit the site, they’ll be doing a further assessment of what is left in the building, if anything.
When Sackville firefighters arrived on scene overnight, they found heavy smoke and fire coming from the Queens Road building. It took roughly three hours to get the fire out, and they were on the scene for most of the night putting out hot spots.
