A six year old dog needs of your help.
Trigger was found behind a home in Elsipogtog after he had been hit by a truck.
Kent County Animal Rescue were called, and Nicole Thebeau says they rushed the dog to the Riverview Animal Hospital.
She says he is currently recovering from surgery that ultimately saved his life, but he isn’t out of the woods yet, “He needs a second surgery to fix his dislocated back leg. We got him this far, and he made it through his first surgery, and there was a 50/50 chance to save him, so we can’t give up on his yet.”
She says about $2000 is needed for the second surgery.
Thebeau says donations are needed to help Trigger get back on his feet. He’ll be placed up for adoption once he is fully recovered.
