Donations are needed to help bring a sponsored Syrian refugee family to Moncton.
St. Augustine’s Parish on Dominion Street is sponsoring a family that will be arriving over the next couple of weeks.
Team Captain Bill Black says there are five family members, a mom and dad and three children all under the age of five.
The group sponsoring the family is responsible for finding the family a place to live, teaching them the way of life in Canada, how to budget, and how to shop, amongst other things..
Their goal is to raise $25, 000 dollars Black says they are halfway there.
