The groundhog emerged from his den this morning and he did not see his shadow.
Hundreds gathered to see him make his prediction.
Punxatawney Phil agreed with Sam, he didn’t see his shadow. Wiarton Willie on the otherhand, saw his shadow, which could means 6 more weeks of winter for Ontario.
Legend says a shadow means winter will stretch for six more weeks. No shadow means an early spring.
