New Brunswick Progressive Conservative Party Will Elect A New Leader In October

New Brunswick’s Progressive Conservatives will elect a new leader at their leadership convention being held on October 22nd in Fredericton.

PC Party President Jason Stephen says the party is looking forward to choosing their next leader and giving New Brunswickers an alternative to the present government.

Stephen says his party feels as though this isn’t just a race for leader of the PC Party, but also Premier of New Brunswick.

He says the party will continue the process of a “one member, one vote” system in choosing the next leader.

The convention will be held at the Fredericton Aitken Centre.

Saint John Mayor Mel Norton hasn’t ruled out running for the PC leadership.
