Premier Speaks At Youth Opportunities Summit, Doesn’t Speak To Media

At the Youth Opportunities Summit at the Lily Lake Pavillion in Saint John, Premier Brian Gallant saying he’s optimistic but not naive about the loss of young people from New Brunswick, saying he knows that’s a major challenge.

According to information from the province, in the last five years New Brunswick experienced a net loss of 9600 youth between the ages of 15 and 29.

Gallant telling the attendees that we need your ideas and we need your innovation. Gallant says the members of government need to understand what is happening with our youth in New Brunswick and what perspectives they can pass on to them that will help them ensure this province is a great place to be as a young person.
