Questions have been raised about whether the proposed Energy East pipeline has a future in light of the opposition voiced last week.
Montreal Mayor, Denis Coderre, a former federal cabinet minister, and other mayors from that region came out against. Coderre went so far as to say it was a bad project.
The C-E-O of Enterprise Saint John Steve Carson remains confident it will go ahead once all the benefits come to light which include the Montreal area.
Carson isn’t surprised there’s opposition considering the immense size and scope of the project which he calls nation building.
