Codiac RCMP are investigating after a 31 year old Moncton man suffered a gunshot wound.
Staff Sergeant Maurice Comeau says they received a call from the Georges Dumont Hospital just before 3am this morning, with a report of a man who had suffered non life threatening injuries.
Officers are in the Brevet Street area in the northwest end of the city this morning, which they say may be related to the incident.
The area was blocked off earlier today, but it has since been reopened.
They’re continuing to speak to residents, in an effort to find out more information.
