A local organization has assisted in helping to find new homes for the victims of an explosive fire on St. George Street.
Five people who lived in three apartments above the Dolma Foods, watched as their fire destroyed their homes early yesterday. Moncton firefighters fought the blaze for roughly seven hours, but the building was reduced to a large pile of debris. Two businesses and the tenants in all three apartments lost everything.
None of the tenants had insurance.
Big Hearts, Small City was able to help find apartments for all of the tenants.
Donations of clothing and other household items for the fire victims are still needed. For more information on how to donate, and what items are required, visit HERE
