Minimum Wage Going Up In The Spring

The minimum wage is going up by 35 cents an hour as of April 1st. That word coming from Premier Brian Gallant.

The minimum wage now at $10.30 an hour will rise to $10.65 an hour.

The Premier says raising the minimum wage will be good for the provincial economy because it will put more money in the pockets of New Brunswickers. There is speculation the HST will also be raised at the same time.
