The 16th year of Fill The Bus was a smashing success for the Anglophone East School District.
Nine school buses were filled, totalling 23,086 pounds of non-perishable food items.
The food supports local food banks and soup kitchens through the Food Depot Alimentaire.
The winners for the 3rd annual friendly competition for 0 – 350, schools with 350-650 and 650+ schools are:
650+ Bernice MacNaughton High School – 6299lbs (repeat winners)
350 – 650 – Riverview East – 2313 lbs (repeat winners)
0-350 – Arnold H MacLeod School – 1445 lbs (repeat winners)
