Oland Trial: The Prosecution Is Giving Its Closing Argument

It’s the prosecution’s turn for a closing argument at the Dennis Oland second degree murder trial.

Crown Prosecutor PJ Veniot telling the jury that the killer was no stranger to Richard Oland.

He also said this was not a robbery, there were no signs of forced entry adding Richard Oland was still wearing his Rolex, had his wallet with him and the keys to BMW were nearby.

When referring to the police investigation, Veniot says no investigation is perfect ladies and gentlemen adding there is no indication that the Saint John police ever acted on bad faith.
