New Brunswick Woman Missing In Grenada

A New Brunswick woman has gone missing in Grenada.

Linnea Veinotte was running with her dog on Sunday morning when they were struck by a car in the capital city of St. George.

Royal Grenadian Police say it appears as though her dog Nico was left on side of the road and Linnea was taken.

Veinotte is in her mid-30s and moved to the country in August after accepting a position as a professor at St. George’s University.

Her sister-in-law, Chasidy Veinotte-Dorey, confirms the details.

However, she adds, “No further comments will be made at this time.”

She thanks everyone for support and “requests that the family’s privacy is respected at this very difficult time.”

Veinotte was born in New Denmark, New Brunswick, but her primary residence is in Glen Haven, Nova Scotia…
