Anglophone East Students Learning About Hotel Industry Opportunities

Students from Forest Glen are getting a look at job opportunities in the hotel industry thanks to a new partnership between Anglophone East and the Crowne Plaza.

All 290 students will get a chance to tour the Crowne Plaza and meet staff each Tuesday starting today.

Students will be given a tour, as well as information about the various career opportunities available.

Regional Director of Sales and Marketing Rob MacPherson says it’s great for staff to be able to interact with students, and show them what is available in the hotel industry.

Forest Glen Principal Craig Hutchings says students will be completing writing pieces or artwork relating to the experience of visiting the hotel.

This partnership is possible through the Partners Assisting Local Schools Program.
