Firefighters from Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe attended a fire this afternoon on Homestead road.
Moncton Deputy Fire Chief Don McCabe says they got the call shortly before 4 about a garage on fire.
He says once they arrived, it was clear the garage was a total loss.
“Well we know there’s going to be extensive fire and water damage in the house, but they’re going to try to stop any further damage to the house,” says McCabe.
McCabe says they had tankers and trucks from all three municipalities involved to help fight this fire.
