Students in the Anglophone East district are helping to ensure no one goes hungry.
They’re collecting non perishable food again this year in their “Fill the Bus” campaign.
Director of Finance and Administration Aubrey Kirkpatrick says this year’s food drive runs until December 16th, “That’s when we send our yellow school buses around the various schools who are participating and we fill them full of food that goes to Food Depot Alimentaire.”
Their goal this year is to collect over 25, 000 pounds of food.
Last year, they brought in around 23, 000, and filled eight school buses.
