There’s still time to register with Food Depot Alimentaire if you are in need of a Christmas food box this year.
There’s no need to feel ashamed if you need some help to put food on the table.
Executive Director for Food Depot Alimentaire Chantal Senecal says they see many different people with various struggles.
She says, “It’s tough in New Brunswick. People don’t make a lot of money and there’s the working poor, and there’s people on assistance, the elderly and children. A lot of people living in poverty.”
She says you shouldn’t feel ashamed if you have to turn to a food bank for help.
