Four months of planning and hard work is paying off for members of Moncton’s Boys and Girls Club.
Students and staff are dropping off bundles of handmade blankets to four different organizations helping the less fortunate around the City.
60 education students and 15 volunteers made almost 40 blankets after getting fleece and other warm materials from retailers.
The four organizations benefiting from the work are the Karing Kitchen, Youth Quest, SIDA/AIDS Moncton and Reconnect.
The Club says they are particularly proud of this project, saying it’s a genuine and true reflection of the empathy of their students.
