New Brunswick Green Party Leader David Coon will be attending the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris.
Coon is part of the New Brunswick component of the delegation because of his two and a half decades of experience with climate change policy.
Coon says we are at a watershed moment.
“We will have to start changing the way we produce and consume electricity and the opportunities in New Brunswick are tremendous,” says Coon. “We’re blessed with vast and diverse resources of renewable energy.”
Coon says we should accelerate development of the smart power grid, increase bioenergy production, and green building construction.
