Jobs fairs are being held in Metro Moncton today and tomorrow for newcomers and international students.
It will focus on manufacturing, warehousing and the distribution sector from 10 until noon today.
Then on the health and wellness industry, from 1pm until 3pm this afternoon.
Immigration Strategy Officer with the City of Moncton Angelique Reddy-Kalala says there are a lot of available opportunities, and if those newcomers do not have the skills needed for the available jobs, this job fair will also introduce them to the educational programs in this region that offer the expertise they need.
Another job fair will be held tomorrow, from 10am until noon, focusing on hospitality, retail, financial, insurance and customer service jobs.
All of the job fairs are being held at the Capitol Theatre.
