Haiti Trip Becomes Eye Opener For Oulton College Instructors

The children in Haiti certainly enjoyed a visit from two Oulton College instructors.

The school has launched a fundraiser, in the hopes of raising $25,000 to build a new school there.

The faculty delivered school supplies and went to the future site of the school.

Instructor Lynn Gaudet says the lack of human contact for these kids was very evident and the children needed their attention constantly during their visit.

As they found out, life in Haiti is very different than here in Canada.

Another instructor says it’s really sad that the the kids don’t have a lot and are very poor.
