Thousands are expected to gather at ceremonies across the province tomorrow to take the time to remember….
Tomorrow is Remembrance Day, a day to remember. Some will pause in the comfort of their own home, while others will gather with the thousands of others at one of many ceremonies taking place across the region.
In Moncton, there are a few Remembrance Day ceremonies to choose from. The Moncton Coliseum is the largest, and it starts at 10:30 tomorrow morning.
This year there is also the special Lest We Forget display in the Agrena area.
Victoria Park features ceremonies for veterans, current members of the military, police officers, firefighters. Ceremonies get underway at 11am there.
The Sunny Brae legion also has a parade that starts at 10:40 tomorrow morning, with a ceremony afterwards at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
In Dieppe, ceremonies are held at Ecole Anna Malenfant, first with a parade startating at 10:30.
In Riverview, many will gather at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for ceremonies.
For Sackville residents, a parade will be held at 9:15, in from of the Legion. A ceremony will follow and then the laying of the wreaths at the Cenotaph.
If you live in Petitcodiac, there will be a service at the Baptist Church. A wreath laying ceremony will be held at the cenotaph on Main Street.
In Shediac, ceremonies begin at 10 at the L.J.R. High School gymnasium, in Memramcook at Veterans Park starting at 11, and in Hillsborough, remembrance will take place at Caledonia High School at 10:45..
And in Salisbury, services will be held at the Legion on Main Street beginning at 10am. Wreaths will be laid at the cenotaph at 11am.
