Crash Claims Lives Of Two Teenagers; Leaves Third Teen In Critical Condition

A single vehicle crash yesterday has left two dead, and one in hospital.

Southeast District RCMP were called to a crash shortly after 8 last night on Route 16 in Port Elgin.

An 18-year-old from Sackville, and a 16-year-old from Melrose died at the scene of the crash.

A 17-year-old boy from Port Elgin was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains in critical condition.

RCMP believes the crash occurred when the vehicle left the road and rolled several times.

An RCMP reconstructionist was on scene, but no word yet on the cause of the crash.
