According to the World Innovation Index, Canada ranks 22nd and that has to improve if Canada is to compete in the more intense global economy.
The C-E-O of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Perrin Beatty says we have more than enough innovative entrepreneurs if you look at the number of start ups and compare that to the size of oujr population but they’re not being nurtured and supported enough.
The top five countries on the World Innovation Index in order are Switzerland, Britain, Sweden, the Netherlands and the U.S.
